If you know nothing about art, you'll love this film. If you know a lot about art, you'll looooove this film.

I've done the Europa-trek thing. Backpacking from city to city, crashing in hostels, boozing in Bohemian dives, and drinking in big gulps of art in massive museums stocked to the rafters with the masters... great heady draughts of Rembrandt and Van Gogh and Picasso and Cezanne.

But after you pay a visit to the Kunstbar, you will never look at art the same way again... or at drinking, for that matter.

The 1 to 7 minutes it takes to get Kunstbar is worth it. Start the download, go off and read in some other part of the site, and come back when it's ready (and then hit F11 so the madness fills your screen).

The Petrie Lounge group, who put this together, are proof that very cool art can be collaborative. Denis Gonzalez, John Halfpenny, Chris LaBonte, Paul Teglas and Steve Whitehouse took some time away from their day jobs animating Beetlejuice and EEK! the Cat, and the result... well, after you see it you'll know why Kunstbar has been getting such amazing buzz.
